Eleven Chapter members made the trip to Penns Creek this year. The weekend
started on Thursday April 16th with the arrival of 9 of the members. Once the
gear and groceries were stowed, we headed to the stream to see what was
hatching. We were hoping to hit the Hendricksons or the Grannom Caddis.
While there was very sporadic insect activity, there were virtually no
fish rising. One here or there, but nothing steady. As a result, we stuck to
nymphs and streamers. While everyone caught some fish, it was tough. On the
plus side it didn't rain, and the weather was beautiful the entire weekend.
