TU Minutes - April 10, 2012

Rich Terry called the meeting to order.  The minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.  John Beck gave the financial report.
We have a balance of $5,708.49 for this month.  We had a nice profit for the banquet of about $2300.  The financial report was approved.

Denis Mora reported on Trout in the Classroom.  Denis said the fish are doing very well.  Stocking by the students is set for April 26th in the
Pennypack.

Rich congratulated Mike Wilson for the excellent job in coordinating everything for the banquet.  There were great prizes and everyone
enjoyed themselves.

The kids fishing day at Lorimar Park is set for April 28th, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Members interested in helping should arrive around 7 to help
prepare things.  Bring a vest with the essentials.

Rich reported on the recent stocking in the Pennypack of the 250 rainbow trout.  He reported that most of the fish were still looking healthy.

It was brought up that our chapter should make up business cards to hand out to other fishermen on the Pennypack that we may come in contact
with.  The card would explain that they could make donations for the stocking of trout through our chapter.

Mike Wilson talked about a work day for May.  Mike will put out a sign up sheet for May 5th.

A chapter outing to fish on the Upper Delaware near Hancock N.Y  is set for the last weekend in July.  Mike mentioned that another steelhead
trip is being planned.  There will be more information to follow.

Dick McKinney put out a sign up sheet for the Penn's Creek fishing trip, May 17-20.

Rich closed the meeting.  After a break, John Beck gave an excellent power point presentation titled, " Upland Hunting In Pennsylvania."

Respectfully submitted,

Bill McNamara
