TU Meeting
Minutes - March 13, 2012

Rich Terry called the meeting to order.  No minutes were read.  A financial report was given.  We have an ending balance of $3,677.76. 
The financial report was approved.

There is to be a trout stocking on March 14 in the Pennypack.  Those interested in helping should meet at the Trust at 1 p.m. in the parking lot.

The annual banquet will be held Saturday, March 17.  Festivities will be from 6 - 10 p.m.  Those attending should bring a salad, appetizer or
Mike Wilson, banquet chairman, spoke about the nice prizes to be awarded.  Mike also requested if anyone could help set up at around 2
p.m. Saturday to let him know.

Denis Mora reported that everything was going well with the Trout in the Classroom project.  He said it looked like the kids will be putting fish
in the creek, probably in the middle of April.

Rich Terry mentioned a new boating law that requires everyone in boats 16 feet and under to wear life jackets in the winter beginning November 1.

Rich asked for a show of hands of anyone who would be interested in a casting clinic by Mark Sedotti.  There was enough interest that Rich
will look into this further.

The April meeting will continue to be held at the Pennypack Environmental Center unless we're otherwise told.

Mike Wilson said there will be chapter trip to fish on the Upper Delaware July 27-28-29.  He gave details of this trip.

Paul Stahl reminded us that Saturday April 28 will be the Rotary Club sponsored kids' fishing day at Lorimar Park.  He asked for our usual

Penn's Creek fishing trip will be May 17-20.  There will be more information on this trip later.

The business meeting ended and following a break we were treated to an excellent presentation by Don Baylor, entomologist.  His topic was
"Eastern Hatches".
