Minutes of TU #468 meeting held on December 10th, 2013.

Meeting was called to order at 7:30pm.

 Minutes of Novemberís meeting were read and approved by the membership.

 The treasurerís report was read and approved by the membership.

 The annual Polar Bear outing will be on Saturday, January 18. We will meet at Creek road at 10am. All are welcome. Please remember to have a 2014 fishing license. We will fish for a couple of hours and then go to lunch.

 Rich Terry attended the board meeting for the Pennypack Trust. He stated that, while operating in the black Ė barely, they put all funds and donations right back into the Trustís mission.

 Per Mike Wilson, with the aid of the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, we will apply for a grant to improve the headwaters of the Pennypack. Most of the funds will be aimed at College Settlement as the Thompsons, who live on the land trust, have graciously stated that they will pay for all remediation work performed on the Trust.

 The chapter will start fly tying classes in January. They will be held at 7:30pm on those Tuesdays that we do not have chapter meetings at the Pennypack Ecological Trust where we hold our normal monthly meetings. The first class will be on Tuesday January 7th.

 Mike talked about the upcoming trip to Colorado in August, touching on the dates (August 15th to August 24th), the two basic locations where we will be staying, etc.

 After the business meeting, we held our monthly dollar raffle which munching on free snacks and soft beverages.

 Rick from Sky Blue Outfitters gave an excellent presentation. He covered the waters in central Pa., how to fish them and what flies to use. He also spoke briefly on how to tie some of the flies he was speaking about. Thanks Rick.
