Pres. Rich Terry called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.  Minutes from the December meeting were read and approved.  Dennis O’Gara read the treasurer’s report and it was approved as read.  Rich mentioned that raffle tickets and banquet tickets were on the table and should be picked up.  He mentioned that since this is our only fund raiser we need to sell a lot of tickets.  

The polar bear fishing date was changed to January 31st.  Anyone interested is to be at the trust at 9 a.m. 

Fly tying classes will begin soon.  Rich talked about school interest in “trout in the classroom” program.  Denis Mora spoke up about Cheltenham Elementary School interested in this program.  There was some discussion on various aspects of the program, that is “how many schools could we support?”  We need to act on this soon (at $500) per school.  Denis Mora will complete the grant forms for this program.  

Mike Wilson spoke about his being at a meeting for the Project Headwaters - Delaware Estuaries.  Mike was disappointed in how it was set up, but overall said it was okay.  

Mike spoke about the upcoming trip to Colorado and gave the cost to be about $1600 overall.  He gave an explanation of the trip details.  

Anyone interested in the Fly Tying Expo at Somerset, N.J. is to meet at the trust at 8 a.m. on Saturday, January 24th. 

 The business meeting ended and the speaker Tyler Niemond was introduced.  He gave an extremely interesting talk with pictures displaying various stream restoration techniques.
