TU Chapter 468 -
Minutes from Meeting - 5/14/13

Rich Terry called the meeting to order.  Minutes from the previous meeting were read and approved.  John Beck gave the treasurer's report.
We have a balance of $5985.55.  The report was approved.

The members were reminded to invite fishermen to our website to learn how to make donations to help stock the Pennypack.

It was reported that about 12 members went on the Penn's Creek outing.  Everyone caught a trout before the rains and stream rising.  A
good time was had by all.

Mike Wilson reported that the Rotary Fishing Derby was held on April 29.  There was a good showing of chapter members.  Between 60 and
70 kids came.  Some trout were caught.  There was a lot of excitement when the stocking truck arrived.

Mike Wilson reviewed work dates.  They are:  June 15, August 17 and September 14 and October 12.  At least 8 members need to sign up to make these days effective.

After a break, the meeting was turned over to Mitch Blake, who is employed by the TU National.  Mitch made a power-point presentation on
the effects of fracking on Trout fishing and wildlife.

Respectfully submitted,

Bill McNamara
