Chapter members that participated on the Pennypack Ecological Trust sponsored stream cleanup were Mike Wilson, Tom Frank, Dennis O'Gara and Walt Kononenko. After the cleanup Tom reported that he picked up couple of unwanted strangers while walking through the woods. These unwanted critters turned out to be our local ticks. This only shows that one doesn't have to go far to be 'annoyed' by nature's fellow creatures.

A second group for our Chapter's stream cleanup was organized by Mark Munn and the goal was to clean up along the Pennypack Creek from Mark's pond upstream for a short distance in an area that does not see much traffic. These photos were taken by Walt Kononenko
